The Wake Maker is a topwater bait made with a Jitterbug-style spoon bill, which throws water side to side, creating a loud plopping noise.
It is designed with a prop blade in the back, producing a second sound. This bait can be fished four different ways:

Straight retrieve with side-to-side action.

Walk-the-dog in a faster presentation.

Mix it up with a straight retrieve and walk-the-dog action for a more aggressive presentation.

Cast it out, let it sit, pop it back with some walk-the-dog action, then pop it again—like a wounded bird or fish struggling on top of the water.
